This calculation is one of the more popular numerology calculations in use. It's based on your full birth date and is usually attributed to general concepts, inclinations and teachings from your life path.
This calculation is easy to understand. Only enter your day of birth, month of your birth and your year of birth
The most common approach is to add the day, month and year of birth and then add them up. In many numerology systems, the master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are not broken down any further.
Change the month to a one-digit number.
For example:
September = 9
December = 12 → 1 + 2 = 3
Sum the numbers of your birthday.
For example:
26 → 2 + 6 = 8
If you are using a numerology system that leaves the master numbers as is, then 11 and 22 will stay the same.
Add together the 4 digits of your birth year, and continue reducing.
For example:
1988 → 1 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 26 → 2 + 6 = 8
Now, combine the reduced month, day and year.
For someone born on 26th September 1988:
September = 9
Day = 26 → 8
Year = 1988 → 8
Then:
9 + 8 + 8 = 25 → 2 + 5 = 7
The resulting Life Path Number is 7.
In many forms of numerology, 11, 22 and 33 are called Master Numbers. Once the number obtained from the calculation reaches one of these numbers, practitioners can choose not to reduce it to 2, 4 or 6 and keep it.
For example:
11 → 11
rather than:
1 + 1 = 2
Numerology systems will vary with respect to how the numbers are calculated, so you must know what system is being used.
In traditional numerology, each Life Path Number relates to a theme.
1 - independence and initiative
2 - cooperation and balance
3 - creativity and expression
4 - structure, discipline and organisational skills
5 - freedom, change and balance
6 - responsibility and care
7 - research, deep seekers and analysis
8 - ambition, justice and achievement
9 - compassion and humanitarian themes
11, 22 and 33 - as Master Numbers.
None of these are scientific personality types or predictions, but rather numerological interpretations.
Your Life Path Number is based on your Full Date of Birth. Numerology calculations done just from the day of birth should not be confused with this one.
For instance, a person who is born on the 26th can have a Birth Number computed from 26 and their Life Path Number can be computed from the month and year of their birth.
No: Your Life Path Number is your birth date, so it is the same all your life. Other numerology calculations, such as Personal Year Numbers, may vary each year.
